I had a client recently ask me if I could populate a custom field every time a new deal is created. The custom field would hold a unique number for an external system of theirs. The number would need to be automatically generated with a sequential number (the first number created would be seeded with a starting number). I have created a working solution using a custom-coded action which works fine. But now I am being asked to do the same thing in another portal that does not have Operations Hub Pro so a custom-coded action is not an option. I am looking for ideas on how I might approach this with a different solution. I would appreciate any ideas.
