Is it possible to customize the phone # tel: link in the main Contacts card and add that record's object ID to the end of the phone number? For example, in the attached screenshot the phone number is 2105645555 -- when the user clicks the highlighted link arrow, the browser detects that as tel:2105645555 and passes it to the associated app on the computer. We use this to initiate a phone call with our VOIP app that's installed on all our salespeople's computers.
When the call is made, it triggers a webhook which launches a Zapier integration that creates an engagement event on the HubSpot contact; however, Zapier is only able to search for a matching contact by the phone # that was dialed. It is very possible that we have the same contact / phone # in HubSpot more than once, so it's not a guaranteed 1-1 match. If we were able to append the hubspot object ID to the end of the phone # like tel:2105645555;12345678, the VOIP platform could pass the object ID to zapier and then the engagement would always be created on the correct contact record.
Is this feasible? Appreciate any guidance!
