Yeah, it gets frustrating when links open in the same tab—especially when I’m working across multiple pages and have to keep navigating back and forth...

Shift-⌘-click (Mac) or Shift-Ctrl-click (Windows) will open a link in a new foreground tab Dunno if that helps you.

The problem is that websites list is no longer links but buttons and they don't have urls.

Yes its hectic but you can click on the row and use the URLs from the right sidbar which popups when selecting the page
