Hi all — I hope this is the right place for this question.
We're working on a deeper integration between our app and HubSpot. One example: we use the customer agent with the Visitor Identification API, which works well — users don’t need to log in again or enter their email in the chatbot. It recognizes them automatically.
However, it seems like this API doesn’t extend to other HubSpot tools. For instance, I’d love to show a pop up CTA with a smart rule in our app, but I assume HubSpot’s smart rules only work when the visitor still has the HubSpot cookie — which is rare in our case, since only a small fraction of users ever even submitted a form.
What’s the best way to help HubSpot recognize more of our app users and make features like smart rules or personalization more effective?
