@channel Looking for some advice on React and Sprocket Rocket.
We have a couple existing sites built using Sprocket Rocket as the theme. We’ve extended several of the modules and even leveraged it to build custom templates hooking into hubdb etc.
A member of our team would like to start using React and has created a few React modules. They have even started mixing React modules on Sprocket Rocket pages. I have some major concerns related to mixing frameworks like this on the same page. Looks to add bloat to the pages, js conflicts, potential seo issues, etc.
React support is new in Hubspot and React itself is great. But, is it too soon to be using it in production for Hubspot? Is it realistic trying to replace all the functionality of Sprocket with a small team (2 devs)? Also, is this the way to go about it? (mixing react and sr on the same pages and slowly replacing)? My gut is telling me we should wait for wider adoption. E.g. wait for signs of wider adoption and support in the community. Signs like React themes frameworks like Sprocket Rocket available in the marketplace and React support has spread to the Design Manager, etc.
